For the second year in a row I have been struck down by a doozy of a Christmas cold.
The fatigue, fever, headache and muscle aches are not conducive to writing… or thought, so for today’s post, all I have for you is a low quality picture of our grouted tile.
The tile are grouted, the bench top is in place, the fixtures are all installed, and we even have running water.
Germs aside, it’s a merry Christmas in the basement.
It’s beautiful. Why not take lots of hot showers. It will open up your air ways and make you feel better. Plus, you can admire those amazing grout line while you soak in the steam
I love a good hot shower. Plus I’ll never pass up a chance to admire my handiwork. 🙂
It looks AMAZING. Well done! I’m sorry for your cold. We’re getting over our doozy of a cold over here. Both kids are still hacking like old emphysema patients. We found Mucinex to be very helpful this time around. I hope you get over your creeping crud soon!
Thanks for the tip, Michele. I’ve never tried Mucinex, but I’m now on to the coughing portion of the illness, so it might help!
Hot toddies work wonders for a cold if you’ve got the ingredients. Being sick on Christmas is horrible. I hope you feel better soon!
I’ve been downing my usual remedy of lemon and honey tea, but a few other people have suggested rum (and tequila, but that may have been a joke). What’s your go-to toddy recipe?
The shower looks great! I’m looking forward to a post-cold analysis. 🙂
