Maple trees are not known for their blossoms. But apparently bees know better.
I spent Sunday weeding the flower garden on the turnaround under a big maple tree. The air was filled with constant buzzing.
Looking up, I was entranced by the beauty of the buds.

Wow! No wonder they love them, they are just cascades of stamens, forget about those pesky petals, lol.
The stamens are as beautiful as flowers.
