It’s been one month since the shortest day of the year. Each day, there’s a little more and a little more sunlight. I don’t love winter’s long nights, but there’s something special about seeing the sunrise every morning.

Ahhh, yes. And you have lots of lovely space to see it. That’s something I miss about Alberta: the sunrises and sunsets here in BC are not nearly as big.
I’m sure Alberta’s are even bigger than ours.
